SAINT Presidents Report – 2023 – 54th Annual General Meeting
1. Welcome,
It is a great privilege to welcome you all to the 54th SAINT AGM and hereby present to you The
Presidents Report as per Saint’s Constitution requirements with regards to 2022’s activities.

3. Council and the Institutes activities during 2022
3.1 Council meetings –
The following meetings were held:
• Council Meetings – 7
• Special General Meeting – 1
• WCNDT Bid Committee Meetings – 1
• Technical Forum – 1
3.2 Membership –
• Corporates = 24
• SAINT individual memberships = 8
3.3 Website
Changes as discussed during the last AGM was made to the website was made and our updated
website is live.
3.5 SABS / ISO TC 135
The next ISO meeting is taking place in Portugal – as Chairman of SC 2 Manfred Johannes is
sponsored by SABS for the trip there.

3.6 Conferences
WCNDT 2028 – SA Bid – The next WCNDT will be held in Korea during May 2024.
It is still the intention of Saint council to bid for the 2028 WCNDT, host city of Cape Town. The 2023
Saint Council elected will drive this bid together with the bid committee. The first bid committee
meeting was held on 23 March 2023.
3.7 Social Media
Keith Cain continues to upload scheduled posts every week, with notices of meetings, events and
website additions regularly. We receive a mixture of reviews, comments, opinions and sharing by all
regularly, this has proven that Saint FB page is a valuable platform within the NDT fraternity.
4. Council
Council was more stable during 2022, and we had no resignations from council during this term and it
certainly feels like things are stabilizing a bit for council as well.

5. Acknowledgement
A special word of thanks to Robin for all your hard work and filling in for council where and
when needed, you are truly the backbone of SAINT, thank you Robin.
